Senior Client Executive - Part-time Contract in Melbourne

We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Client Executive with approximately 3 years’ experience to work on an exciting new project with a large well-known and reputable international client. Based in our Melbourne office, you will be working with a small team to provide support in implementing the PR strategy for this campaign. You will also work closely with other functions to develop messages for stakeholders, whilst building strong relationships with clients and partners. You will research and prepare media pitches and background materials, as well as daily media handling, including proactive and reactive media pitching. You will co-ordinate logistics and manage film requests, photography and content shoots, along with media monitoring and campaign reporting.

The ideal candidate will have experience in media, communications or PR, with specific experience in developing media pitches, media relations, and working with consumer brands. They will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the capacity to plan and prioritise your work. They must be flexible, resourceful, and have the foresight to anticipate obstacles and formulate an alternative plan if need be.

Our New Zealand team is looking for two senior consultants and one intermediate-level consultant to work in our Auckland or Wellington offices.

We are looking for strategic thinkers and problem solvers with six or more years’ experience in communications, including managing a range of diverse projects and leading client interaction.

The ideal candidates will be confident dealing with complex issues, and able to think creatively to solve problems.

They will have excellent writing skills, be articulate and capable of managing conflicting demands under pressure, and understand the digital environment.
