Sally is a professional communicator with strong project management skills. A keen writer, Sally develops organisational narratives, communication plans and strategies, and writes and edits major reports. Sally is passionate about good writing and helping others to improve their skills, and is one of the facilitators of SenateSHJ’s Writing for Impact™ program in structured writing.
Sally specialises in stakeholder engagement and community consultation, particularly in the education and health sectors. She develops communication and consultation strategies that deliver on client needs and give the community a voice. As part of these engagements, Sally facilitates focus groups and workshops, conducts interviews, and synthesises large amounts of often complex data into concise and compelling communication materials.
Sally provides pro bono media relations support and advice to Missing Persons Advocacy Network, and has volunteered in the media relations unit of Cancer Council Victoria. Sally has a Graduate Diploma in Public Relations from RMIT University where she graduated with Distinction, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne where she majored in Chinese language.
